Sued on debt that is past the statute of limitations

I'm in Utah and I was sued on a past statute debt by Midland Funding LLC. The last payment made on the account was in Jan of 2016. I used your answer form and filed it with the court and sent a copy to the plaintiff. The attorney sent me a settlement letter which I did not respond to. They also filed Certificate of Discovery with the court and sent me a request for production of documents and a request for Admissions.

Where do I go from here? Should I file a motion for dismissal? Do I have to answer the the attorney? I never received any kind of documentation for this so I'm not sure what they want from me.

Thank you,

Jennifer Thackeray
