I was contacted on yesterday by a so-called bill collector by the name of Plymouth agency. They text me and so I called them. When I called them, they told me that I had a collection of medical debt that was getting ready to go to court from 2014. I was a little nervous, and so I apparently was not aware that Mississippi had a statute of limitation on medical bills after three years after going on your website. But I had already made payment arrangements with this so-called bill collector. They claimed that they were the arbitrary for ranking medical and could give me any detail information because of hoops. They also claim that they record my agreement of paying $300 made for tomorrow and $150 every two weeks for eight payments. I am wondering since I made this arrangement with them does it still stand? Also, they told me they were sending me an electronic agreement to sign and they never sent it. What should I do? I gave them a credit card or it wasn’t really a credit card it was a Prepaid card with nothing on it.

Firstly, it's important to verify the legitimacy of the so-called bill collector and make sure they are not a scammer trying to steal your money.
