Negotiate a settlement

I had solosettle negotiate my collection down after filing an answer. I put in the initial offer almost two weeks ago. When should I expect a response or counter offer from my initial offer?

We appreciate you reaching out. How SoloSettle works is that you will receive an automated email when the opposing side either accepts your offer or counteroffer.

If the opposing side accepts your offer, we will deduct our fee of 19% COMMISSION ON THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF DEBT. Or if the opposing side counter-offers and you agree with the amount, we will deduct our fee of 19% COMMISSION ON THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF DEBT. So that you know, no deduction will happen without your consent.

Once you click "submit," the email offer is sent to the lawyer information you provided us immediately after you click submit.

How long it takes to hear back from the opposing side varies with every company. We cannot guarantee that the opposing side will always respond; they can always ignore the email, and if that is the case, you will not hear back.

If you have yet to respond to the Summons and Complaint document informing you of the debt lawsuit case, then we highly advise that you do so whether you settle or not; You are required by law to respond to the court's documents and our debt answer product will assist you in doing so Free, Standard $50, or Premium $247 https://www.solosuit.com/debt_answer.
