I have received 1095C for 3 credit cards that Bank of America wrote off this December 2022. I don't even have any recollection of the accounts. Is there a time frame that a creditor can write debt off?

thank you for your answer. There has been no paperwork served in regard to the debt. It wasn't even on my credit report. I only received a notice in the mail from the creditor in regards to the 1099C being filed with the IRS
