Hello, I was wondering the best way to go about being sued. My mother in law in another state has been receiving mail for me the last month or two and didn't think anything of it. Found out tonight when she opened one I'd been default judged against in Indiana, me living in Kentucky for the last two year knowing nothing about it. Portfolio recovery was the ones I guess, they call my house almost daily, which Im never home I'm working through the day, and I don't answer as I read on credit karma doing that resets dept owed time. All this let's me know they do have the correct address as I got a address change as soon as I came back to Kentucky, and never even changed my license from my kentucky address, is there anything I can do still?
