I am being sued in small claims court for credit card debt.
My income and property are completely exempt from judgment payments based on my states laws (Vermont). Is being Judgment proof a reason to file a motion to dismiss? As in there is nothing for the debt collector to gain from suing me.

Unfortunately, we are not able to answer that. You can contact the court listed on your Summons and Complaint document to see if that is the case or not. What we have done is email you the steps to handling a judgement/garnishment via email.
