Solo Suit Filed my response to collection creditor in June 2022. Today (August 22, 2022, I received a legal document for plaintiff's motion to be heard in civil court on Monday 10/3/22. My question is~~ can I still file a Motion to Compel Arbitration, or is it too late now that court date is set? Also, if they do follow through with the arbitration, is a financial settlement automatically required? I do not have money for either hiring an attorney to represent me, nor funds to cover a settlement. Can this case still just go away if I take the Motion to Compel Arbitration step?

We cannot provide you with any legal guidance. You will need to call the court clerk and ask if you should do arbitration. If so, I have emailed you the information on our motion to compel arbitration. We do not assist in sending it, only in creating the document.
