Would it help me to send this company a verification letter. They are sueing me for a credit card account from 20+ years ago. They said they send out a letter but it was sent to the wrong address and they won't send me another one because it would give me another 45 days to dispute their claim. It all seems unfair to me. Now I'm going to be sued.

Our debt validation letter should only be sent to the opposing attorney if you have not received a Summons and Complaint. If you have them and a case number, then there is nothing else that they need to prove. It would now be up to you to send an initial answer and you would use our website at https://www.solosuit.com/debt_answer to do so.
