I just got served paperwork that I am being sued by a person my ex boyfriend got into an accident with in my car. Registered and insured by me. The statue of limitations would have been next week. My ex name is on the paperwork too. I'm guessing they are trying to serve him also. But he is nowhere in this state. I haven't talked to him in 2 years. What if they don't serve him by next week when the Statue of limitations is up and how can they sue me? It states they are sueing me for letting him use my car. He had a license and my car was insured.
