Judgment against mt homestead prpoerty tax

My is Davud Root and I received notice from the state of Michigan that they were keeping my homestead taxes for a credit debt judgemt against me. I'm on disability and his will really hurt me. I believe the staue of limitations ran out but my state honored it anyway. I believe I fall under the uncollectable rule because of being on disability it takes everything I have to survive. I have three weeks to dispute this garnishment to be able to get my homestead taxes. Can you give.me any advice thank you.

The statute of limitations for all types of consumer debt in Michigan is six years.

I'm not familiar with any "uncollectable rule."

What type of government checks can be garnished gets tricky. I believe private disability checks can be garnished.
