Each defendant in a lawsuit must respond individually, in most cases. This holds true even if one defendant is a business owned by the other defendant.
Let's consider an example.
Mike owns Tires Champ, LLC. Mike is served a Complaint and both he and Tires Champ, LLC are named as defendants. Mike uses SoloSuit to make two Answers: one for him and one for his company. After Mike files an Answer, the plaintiff, a debt collector, drops the case.
Important note: both individuals and companies can use SoloSuit. However, in many states companies are required to have an attorney represent them. In those states, SoloSuit isn't a good fit for companies.
